How
does Blue Sky earn money if the service is free?
As an agency, we are paid a commission by the venue you confirm
for placing the booking at their venue.
Do
the venues add on your commission to maintain their rates of payment?
No. Due to the volume of business an agency is likely to offer
a venue, it is standard practice to provide an agency with a reduced
rate and commission is included in this rate. The client therefore
benefits from the reduced rate but does not have to pay extra
to cover the agency commission.
What’s
the catch then?
The beauty of using an agency is that, for the client it’s
a win/win situation. We do the running around finding only the
most suitable venues and negotiate only the best prices for you,
saving you time and money. So, there’s no catch –
just benefits to using our service.
What
happens after you find me some venues?
We will then send you a detailed proposal by e-mail containing
only suitable venues which are available on a ‘1st option’
basis. We will provisionally hold the venues and we can arrange
site visits for you to help with the decision making process.
What happens when I decide to confirm one of the proposed
venues?
All you need to do is advise us which venue you would like to
confirm and we will confirm this booking with the venue chosen.
We will issue you and the venue with our confirmation containing
full details of the event booking. We will then hand this booking
over to the venue and they will liaise directly with you in regards
to the contract, payment details and final requirements. |
